Diorama + Customs = Chaos

Well, I've been working on quite a bit of stuff. It may not look like much, but believe me -- it's a lot. First, I have a diorama that I've been working on. It's a work in progress so I'm still messing with it quite a bit.
I'm going to add some sand of dirt on the brown area later.

I've also been working on a custom. I have absolutely no idea what breed he's going to be so HELP ME! but I think he'll be a chestnut and I know that the mane and tail are terrible. I might redo the tail but... I don't know if I'll have the time ( or the clay!) to redo it. He was originally the standing presentation Secretariat and I got him with that crazy ear along with the mare below on eBay. He's only my 2nd custom!

Before (Sadly I don't have any pictures of the other side)

Here's after a tiny bit of sanding
Here's the mane, tail, and forelock. Also, I primed the horse to see uneven areas
Here's my first custom from a LONG time ago. It must have been last septemberish when I got her and I finished it a while ago too. She's supposed to be a palomino Clydesdale mare and I named her Sandy after my piggy!
Before:

Here's after covering a little bit of the seams on her legs

Here's after I added a new forelock

And here's after painting!
Eh, I really don't care for the hoof color. Somehow I managed to mix lemonade and pumpkin orange to get some sort of neon peach...It's really that bright in person and looks like someone painted their mare's hooves for a Halloween Parade.

Well, things have been pretty busy so um that whole blog once a week kinda went down the drain so I'll just try to post as often as I can.
